My key worked on Friday...NO longer works today!

Has anyone ever had a hasp key just quit working? I have the software on a laptop and desktop so I am pretty sure the key is the problem and not the computer. The customer no service at CSI is great Mad It only took them 3 hours to figure out it is a keyed verision. They finally call me back and want to pass me along to another department. I am so glad we have the maintenance NO agreements.

Funny...as I am typing this I got a phone call from a boss...his contact with CSI said these calls go to Manila...said when they call back to ask for a transfer to knoxville.

Does the key have a time limit? If yes, then try setting the computer clock to an earlier date (say 1 month ago) and then see if key works.

Interesting.... I have a "keyed" version of RBMware that is about 3 months old and I started having trouble with it this weekend. It says the key is not there... I keep trying, reboot the computer, etc. and it eventually works.

I think what works the best is to remove the key from the parallel port, attempt to load the program, and THEN plug the key in and click "Try again" (or whatever it says).

I finally got a solution around 3:30 on Monday. There is nothing like getting to start your day 8 hrs late.

CSI was very helpful once I got to talk to someone in Knoxville. Thanks to our area's sales rep...he was able to get me through very quickly.

Anyway, they sent me files to add/replace in my "sys" folder. Basically, the files made my verison become a 30 day demo...no key required. I have to mail my key to them and they will replace. I thought I would be down for a few days. I didn't know they could easily make it a demo.

Rusty, I tried to reboot but that didn't help. I am convinced the key is bad. It would not work on either my desktop or laptop.
