There is a standard procedure to heat treat welds to avoid cracking. There is also a method to do the same with vibration using vibromotors at the corners of the construction and then sweeping a range of frequencies up to like 50-60Hz or possibly 100-120Hz several times. Anyone have any documents or leads on how hi "dose" of vibration is required and if there are some investigations on the effects of this flavour of our favourite dark art, vibration? Shaken, not stirred. Olov
