I am trying to find information on using ADRE 208 and/or 408 systems.
Any help is appreciated. |

Rick, right now there is an ADRE/408 course scheduled in Minden NV for 10/30 through 11/1.
There is also a ADRE/208 course scheduled for Schenectady NY from 11/6 through 11/8. You can go to http://www.bently.com/service/training/schedule.asp to view details, schedule and register. John from PA |

If possible, go to Minden just to experience the area. Nice mountains + Lake Tahoe.
More seriously, in my previous job I used a 208 system extensively. I never went to training specific to ADRE. I did attend the Machinery Diagnostics course, during which we used the ADRE system. I found that the course was all I needed for ADRE plus it gave me a stronger background in diagnostics. This was way before the 408's. From what I have seen of the 408's, the SW is too much like System One, and I much prefer the old ADRE 208 SW over System One. If you plan on using a 408 system or if they have "improved" the good old ADRE software to make it more like System One, you might need some SW specific training to become proficient with it. The 408 boxes do seem really nice though. I would encourage you to think about your needs before making a decision -- can you pick up the SW part, but need help with the diagnostics part? do you need help just navigating through the SW? Talk to GE-Bently and make a decision on which course is best for you. If you need mainly the diagnostics part, there are some independent options that might be worth considering. Michael Titone |

There will be a ADRE/408 course scheduled for Schenectady NY from 23-25 October. Register through the same link I previously provided.
