Houston we have a problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Friday I had RBMware open and went to look at some data. Had looked about a 1/2 hour earlier with no problems. When I opened plotdata the measurement point column said no points defined. The last time I saw this was with VibPro, I lost 4 yrs worth of transient, modal and ODS data (thankfully that didn't hurt to bad)and was unable to get back in until I created another data base. Anyhow I closed RBMware out and tried to reopen it. I got the following error message. I tried to check the files it's telling me but have no idea what to look for. This is not good because I have < 1000 pieces of equipment in this data base @ an avg. of 6 points per. I am hoping that our IS department can get this squared away, even if I have to go to a back-up copy (which means I lose all data taken after the back-up date). Has anyone seen this before and please tell me it's fixable.

Hi Roy

I also got once that lovely message. I called the guys in Belgium and they suggest me to reinstalle the program. I did that and after the meassege never appeared again. But please don't ask me why it can happen, I do not know.
Because of the datas, I didn't lose anything, because the file xxxx.rbm stays or to be totaley sure make a copy of it.

I too have seen this message, more than once. I found on some occasions that:

1: I had no access to the internet.
2: The enable table was not found or was corrupt.

I think one thing you might encounter if you reinstall the program, as Martin suggested, is you'll have to contact Knoxville and get a new "code" number to activate the software. I assume you are using the "network" version, huh? May be something wrong with your main computer.

Reinstalling the software should not remove your databases since they are independent files stored, usually in the RBMsuite folder, unless otherwise changed by the person making the databases at the beginning. You will loss them if this folder is deleted for some reason. But I would go in and make a backup or copy of all ***.rbm, ***.mdb files before doing any software reinstalling.

Only my opinion.

Thanks for the replys,
I found out that our IS dept. made some changes to the server that RBMware resides on. It is a network version so everyone has been shutout. Great!!!! This is not the first time. Hopefully we can get this resolved by days end (or sooner I hope)because I'm dead in the water.
