Is it possible to email someone on this board, just from the 'public' info available. Email addresses don't seem to show up anywhere, and "messaging" is a mystery to me (apparently, that feature is supposed to be available ???)

Any help would be appreciated.

I can't see anything available to email someone directly. That's why I added the link to my signature. No spam so far. I didn't see anything mentioned in the help file about email, either. At one point Terry said the messaging feature could be turned on. Maybe there's something like that for email, too. But we all know Terry spends his days on the beach down in Ft. Myers. Maybe when he comes in for another cool beveridge he can turn these things on--or maybe there are issues with turning them on--who knows.

There are times when having access to individuals would be preferred to using the public forum. I do think it should be up to the individual to be able to turn it on. Maybe the signature is the place to announce this.

Signature seems like a simple way to accomplish this. I can see that some folks might not want their email address available to board members, since all you have to do to join the board is have a valid email address. Thanks for the idea, Patrick.
