I have a customer with an old IRD 885 balancing machine and and IRD stand. They have requested information on a possible replacement balancing machine. I am not at all familiar with balancing machines as I do all my balancing insitu. Can any of you suggest equipment that is easy to use and learn for my customer?
Thanks,
Nick

Hey Nick,

If your customer is happy with their stand, they should be able to buy a new balancing computer that will retro fit. We did that at the last place I worked when our old unit became unserviceable due to lack of parts availability. http://www.irdbalancing.com/balancing.asp

Nick, I think the old legacy unit of IRD balancing is still around. They may indeed have a retrofit to modernize the balancing machine.

Nick,
We had to replace our ballancing machine a few years ago. We purchased one from BalanceMaster Inc, they are located in Concord, VA. It came with the Easy Balance 2.2 system and the guys in the machine shop really like it.
