i'm looking for a chart that outlines what the letters and numbers signify on a bearing ID such as '50BC03JP30X'. if anyone has a link, it would be much appreciated.

Here is one that I use, it takes the AFBMA # and converts it to SKF. Have a Good Day, Clay

If you call SKF they will send you an AFBMA conversion booklet.

Call 215-513-4400 ask for Marina. She will send you out the booklet. It is a huge help for me when building data bases from name plate info.

Joey-

You want to go to The Bearing Expert. Click the DEMO option on the quick clicks to try The Bearing Expert Database. One of the reports you will see is called the PREFIX and SUFFIX report. It breaks down the part numbers and explains their meaning for each manufacturer. Designed specifically to meet your needs.
