Could someone look at the information here and see if they can confirm bent journal or roll? This is on a paper machine dry felt roll turning at 3122 fpm and 960 rpm's. The attatched is the spectrum and twf. This is a normal reading, PeakVue shows no impacting or bearing frequencies. Thanks

Axial, horizontal or vertical?

Is this a guide roll, stretch roll or stationary roll?

Can you take cross channel phase data in the axial direction?

Thanks and Have a Great Day,

Ralph,
This is on a guide roll in the axial direction. I could take cross channel readings, its just getting the time to do it. We don't do it that much, they keep up pretty busy on "vanilla" readings. Smiler I might be able to set it up later in the week.
Thanks

Jim,
It looks like you may have a cocked bearing, being that this is a guide roll. What do the tending side readings look like? You may want to check with production to see if there is a problem with the felt causing the guide roll to adjust to its maximum range.
