Some of the files are free access, and some require a login. I am not registered there, so I just look at the free access articles. See below from the website:

I had this guy as an instructor several years ago... he's a little out there, but is one of the better instructors I've had. And there is some good stuff on his site.

Below is a link to free download of the entire 441 page textbook "Vibration Problems in Engineering" by Timoshenko. This is the 2nd edition published in 1936:

http://ia331318.us.archive.org/1/items/vibrationproblem...problem031611mbp.pdf

If you wanted to buy the latest edition of this book (5th edition) new, it would set you back $180:

http://www.amazon.com/Vibration-Problems-Engineering-Jr...id=1197466600&sr=1-1

The old 2nd edition book obviously won't have much info on computer solution methods etc, but it still looks like a great reference (if you are interested in the theoretical side of vibration).

I was a little hesitant to publish a link to a book that has a copyright stamp on it. But as far as I can tell, the host of this website is a legitimate non-profit organization which makes available many items in the public domain including items whose copyright has expired
