I know this is a long shot but it's worth a try. We've found and old 2110 and want to see if it will work, however the battery is a goner. Does anyone know where I could get a new one or does any kind soul happen to have one spare that we could buy?
Any help is greatly appreciated Paul Dinneen Con Mo Tech |

I've not done it but I believe people on this site have said they've taken an old 2110 battery to a local battery supply vendor and was able to get a new battery pack made. I think it's made up of a series of "C" cell batteries.

After thinking about it, I remembered that Portermax sold replacement batteries for analyzers. check this site http://www.portermax.com/cgi-bin/ccp5/cp-app.cgi?pg=cat&ref=45

I think joe is correct; radio shack re-chargables soldered together = 12 V

Actually it´s 2x10 cells so it´s +-12V.
You buy 2 packs 10 cell units and solder using the old cable and connector with 3 cables + - and GND in the middle of the pack. I use NiMh that works better. Olov |

Cheers guys, the help is appreciated. We just cut the shrink-wrap off it and it is just 20 AA batteries, will make one up ourselves, seems pretty straightforward.
