I have a 2120. Periodically, when I download data to MHM 5.1, the computer freezes with a blank screen. At which point I must restart. This started with version 5.0. It never happened with prior versions. Tech support claims they have not seen this problem and have no solution. It happens on both of my computers that run the software. Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

I have had some problems with communications, but not like you describe. I have a 2120-2 and a Consultant and use a Radio Shack serial-USB adapter. Baud rate is 115,600.

I have found that if you have the 2120 on and the communications opened in the data collector before you open RBMWare, it will work every time but if you don't, it may not work, but doesn't lock up anything but the comm software. Close and reopen RBMWare (since you have a spare 2 minutes anyway ) and make sure the 2120 is on and has the comm software open and it works right.
