Roy,

Never seen those. Hae you tried to run database repair? You have a network copy don't you? Under contract? If not, database repair by CSI is very expensive.

Good Luck,

Danny

from my knowledge
RMBware database info is stored in the .rbm file

your path shows it is trying to open a .dbz file which is a database creation wizard file

Looks like to me something is wrong with the file location path or type of file to open but that is my opinion from how mine works, unsure if there are different ways..

Not yet Danny. Last time I ran repair it took @ 4-5hrs to go through it. Unfortunately when we let site ops take over the network system they dropped the maintenance contract. We are trying to take over the show again. DBrepair will be my next option.
Thanks for the reply,

I'm not sure if DBrepair does anything with the dbz file. Like was mentioned above, check all the paths. The dbz file should be in the folder with the database name. Otherwise, dropping the maintenance agreement may have been a bad idea.

MikeH,
To answer your question, Nope. I ran DBfix to no avail. I have noticed that it only occurs with one of my databases (of course the most important one). Other issues have come up since I posted this. Sometimes I can't even get RBMware to open. Double click the icon hour glass shows for split second then nothing. I have to reboot my PC anywhere from 1-7 times before it comes up. I have a call into our IS dept. to check it out. From what I understand they did something to the sever the program resides on the weekend before all this mess started. Bad as I hate to say it, it seems as though everytime these "Knotheads" mess with this server something goes haywire.

Roy,

I suspect your IT guys did sonething to the permissions. CSI requires full read write permission to all paths that the database uses. I would be suspicous of any recent work they have done on the server.

Roy,

Does all this happen no matter which database is "current" when you try to open RBMware?

If not , you might could try and open RBMware with another database being current, then switch to the "bad" one and then extract all the data out into a new database and let the program rebuild everything it seems to have "lost".
Of course this might get a little "tricky" and "touchy" if you have all of your databases' "histories" stored all in the same "RBMview" file.
