A power supply shutdown surprised us during a database download from the instrument to the software (UPS not working). We started over our computer and tried to download again the database but got an error message telling us our database was corrupted. Is there any way to fix the database and restore the information to the computer ?

Just in case, we took our backup folder and copy it to another computer. Tried to restore and old backup to recover at least most of the data, but the software only show us the last 5 or 6 readings ? Is there a limitation related with date or database size when restore the backup in Ascent software ?

Image 002: in the station with problems, one of the machines showed us this error message.

Image 003: our backup list, when tried to restore one of them, only 5 or 6 readings with data appear.

I don't think that there is any limitation on the amount of data or the date. I just restored my data from the backup and I have all my data, 10 readings dating back yo April.
When was the last time that you backed up your data? Which version oc Ascent are you using?
You may want to contact Commtest directly. Commtest.com and you can ask them questions and send them data over the Internet. They are usually very prompt in getting you an answer.
