Please help me how to connect BN3300400 Accelerometer to Gilchrist 3501 transmitter.
BN3300400 has 4 wires; pwr, com, in and shield. required -24Vdc and bias voltage is -8.5Vdc 3501 input have 3 terminations; shield, com and in shawgrp.pdf (70 Kb, 19 downloads) |

Hi Bro,
For Bentley Nevada, they separate the power and signal wire so in their system. The reason of having the extra wire. Generally, other manufacture of general-purpose accelerometer share the power and signal wire. Another unique thing about Bentley accelerometer is the power has to constant at 24 VDC +/-0.5v and bias voltage is negative. Other manufacture have arrange for the power (usually 18-30 Vdc) and positive bias voltage around 8 to 12v You can try jumping the power and signal wire on the BN3300400. |

Confirm, the P/N. There is a BN 330400 accelerometer which by the way has a 3 pin connector, not 4.
