I wonder if anyone can help me out about bearing frequencies on horizontal pumps. Plates show a lot of bearings like these:

- ND3215LR
- ND45314LIA

I think they are NDH bearings, but where can I find the fault frequencies?

Is there any way to make an equivalent in other manufacturers?

NDH are now Hyatt bearings. Go to the following website for the number system

ND3215LR

ND = MAGNETO BEARING (SEPARABLE TYPE)

3215 = basic bearing number

LR = LOOSE RADIAL CLEARANCE (INTERNAL FIT-UP) (AFBMA SYMBOL 3)


ND45314LIA

ND = MAGNETO BEARING (SEPARABLE TYPE)

4=SNAP RING MOUNTED ON OUTER RING OF BEARING

5314= basic bearing number

LIA = LOOSE INTERNAL FIT-UP (L) , ABEC-1 TOLERANCES (1), RUST PREVENTIVE SLUSH (A)

Finally the fault frequencies in orders are:

NDH 3215

FTF=0.419
BSF=3.01
BPOR=4.61
BPIR=6.3899

and for NDH 5314

FTF=0.398
BSF=2.1259
BPOR=4.775
BPIR=7.2249

I found the fault frequencies searching the NDH bearings in the Odyssey Database using the basic bearing number.

What box and software are you using?
