Yes you can and the waveform seems to say that. Smiler The pattern in the waveform might "look" like an Inner Race, but confirming the peaks are BPFO instead of BPFI says the BPFO can have the same pattern as the BPFI, if that is what you are asking. Smiler

Probably what is happening is you have an Outer Race defect and when the rollers stike the defect it is causing the cage to be excited and being displayed as sidebands (modulation) around the BPFO peaks.

Hi Mike,
Maybe you have a verdict by now but I would say you have a roller defect on one roller and your brg fault freqs are wrong, different manufacturer of brg maybe? Wave form is clasic of this with every 2nd peak lower as the defect hits inner then outer race and travels through load zone at FTF.

I agree with Planty... possible speed or bearing freq off just a tad.. most likely 2x bsf with cage impacts..

dont blame you for changing...
