I'm looking for a readily available specification for machinery and equipment similar to the GM Specification No. V1.0a-1999.
I especially like the frequency bands in which velocity is "line limited." The fact there are several specs for different classes of machine is reasonable too. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dan Timberlake Dan Timberlake |

Found a decent source here - www.hq.nasa.gov/office/codej/codejx/Vibration_Spec.doc

Dan,
That spec was based on the old GM spec. I hope it works for you. Ken Culverson |

Dan, I have gone through the specs, one question:
Precision Machine Tools, the limits are very thight (page 36). 0,02 Inch/sec - Peak. What comes to me are rotary screw compressors and pumps. Would you consider these equipment Precision Machine Tools? Steven van Els, CMRP |
