I'm going to set up a Sentinel unit on a BFP to catch a vibration transient that is triggering the customers go/no go vibration switch. It will just trip off randomly thoughout the day. When I set this unit up in the office and simulate a vibration alarm I am not seeing it in the daily logger. It does trigger an event logger, but just says the alarm or danger level was triggered. One thing I noticed is that there is no time stamp on any on the events. There is no listing in the manual for a date and time stamp, so I am at ends with how to get the box to know what time it is. Does it synch up somehow with the computer? Maybe I shoulf try hooking it up to another computer to see if it will get a date stamp. Anyway, just wondering if there is something I am missing to do.

Never mind. Turns out if you delete the log file with the power on time stamp, and you don't unplug it again, it won't time stamp anything.
