Anyone know what this bearing number from a Siemens motor translate out to?
110ru22d30 I know it's a roller bearing, but the 22 after the "ru" is throwing me for a loop. How about the d30, anyone know what this means? Billy |

I know that its a nu222, I don't know what the d30 is either.

According to an ABMA conversion sheet I have, the "22" means:
series used for self-aligning spherical roller bearings; e.g., 22222 (SKF) As for the d30, I think the "d" refers to the cage (although the sheet I have shows only X, K, M, and H). I think the "3" stands for internal clearance greater than normal, the "0" for normal tolerance. This is my interpretation of the sheet I am looking at, and I could be wrong ;-) |

What is the motor model or serial number. Peggy Myers at Siemens thinks she can help. Jon, N6VC/5 n6vc@yahoo.com |

I agree it looks awfully similar to an AFBMA number.
110 would be bearing ID in mm. ru would indicate the bearing type. My AFBMA conveter sheet doesn't show this. Does yours Michael? If yes, where did you get yours? D would be Non-metallic (phenolic) cage, centered by one race 30 is common configuration 3 = C3 internal clearance, 0 = standard tolerances. Mike - can you explain about the RU? |

Mike - can you explain about the RU?
From EASA Technical manual, 1996, Section 9, pg. 6: Under "Brg type" RU - cylindrical roller bearing, shoulders on outer ring Also lists: RN - cylindrical roller bearing, shoulders on inner ring RJ - cylindrical roller bearing, shoulders on each side of outer ring and one side of inner ring SC - double row self aligning roller bearing SD - double row self aligning roller bearing TS - spherical roller thrust bearing; e.g., SKF 29430 |

Thanks Mike. That's some good info.

Sorry guys, been real busy lately. I'll get the additional tag info when I get back to work on Monday Jon.
Michael, are you using standard AFBMA conversion info? If so, where did you get it? I'd like to have this info. The stuff I've got only give info on ball bearings. Are you also saying, that an EASA technical manual has info on motor bearings? Is so, that's good to know. Another research source. Thanks guys!! Billy |

Jon, my serial for this motor is 1-5113-64765-3-6.
It's a model 139. Billy |

Hi,
Check out this link. It providses the Seimens Part No and cross reference to the actual bearing size. http://www.sea.siemens.com/motorsbu/product/Pricing%20Guides/Siemens_Medallion_Motors_Renewal_Parts_&_%20Pricing_Guide_April2001.pdf Den Denny C |
