Hi all we thinking of buying a new camera,is anyone using NEC TH9260 camera?
I have been told that it is on par with a Flir P640 can anyone offer any advice?

Yes, it has a 640x480 array like the FLIR. In the US is sells under the Mikron brand but is the same camera. Electrophysics also has a 640 system. You should check the specs on all three and see which meets your needs.

Do you really need a 640 system? Many people fall prey to the "bigger is better" theory, which may apply in some situations, but not always in thermography. In fact we've found some of the 640 systems to have comparatively dismal measurement resolution (no spec is given for this!) so you may also want to try before you buy.
