Hello eveybody !
My terminal has two types of Loading Arms - FMC. I want to ask about material for flange Oring(connected between loading arm Flange and Ship) -Loading Arm 1: To load Condensate/gasoline product; Oring material:PB701. -Loading Arm 2: To load Butan/LPG product; Oring material: Hydrin 200. The lifetime used PB701 is 6 months. However Oring Hydrin 200 is just only 2 months because it has decayed and peeled off. And last, I changed all them by Oring-Viton material but this situation is not improved! Please show me! 1. What is the best/suitable material for two type Loading arm? 2. Because of changing regime operation of them, What does I considerate when I use Loading arm for Butan product to load Condensate product? Thank for yours answer! Phylosopher |

Gaskets are meant to wear especially when the flanges are regularly open & closed. Do you think the gasket materials are not suitable for the media being loaded because of too frequent replacements? Have you contacted the OEM for suggestions of better materials?
