I applied to a group of infrared thermographers setting up a user group I found on the Reliability web page, I did not get a reply. Do you have any info on this group, if not is there any group that one can info on to become a member of.

Yes - we have been supporting an independent group of thermographers that are still assembing in one form or another - called ISPOT.
