Hi
I need to know, at what temperature is a thermographic image too hot and requires you to stop machine and repair immediately for the following: 1) Neutral wiring connector block 2) Fast contactor Also if the target distance of the image changes, what effect does it have on the spot temperature? Thanks for your help in advance. Regards |

If you are asking yourself, "How hot is too hot?" then you either need a simular component for a comparison or you need some baseline data.
Also if the target distance of the image changes, what effect does it have on the spot temperature? As the distance from the target increases the atmosphere absorbs more of the exitant infrared from the target and it emits its own infrared, adusting the distance, relitave humidity and air temperature settings in your camera will correct for this. However changing these settings will not help with spot size issues and if you are too far away from the target you will not be able to measure it accurately. You can only correct for this by moving closer or using external optics. Bob Berry BINDT Level 3 IRT Civil & Electrical Thermal Vision 8 Old Fair Green Dunboyne Co Meath Ireland |
