We are buying a Infracam SD ( Flir make) and the supplier has informed the readiness of the item for inspection. What are the imporatnt features to be seen during inspection of the camera.

Hello Gevenag, I have a InfraCam SD too, the good thing about this camera is its simplicity during the inspections. I give you some tips that you have to considerated when you want to capture a thermogram. 1)Find your target and You have to focus the target correctly. 2)Try to avoid things which dont permit to see your target, If you can move to other place or remove that thing. 3) Try to avoid reflecting bodies in your target, be sure about the hot spots. 4)Is not necesary to know exactly the emissivity or reflecting temperature of the target during your inspection. 5) Measure the reflecting temperature in order to analize in the computer.
