In your opinion, can thermography be used to detect leaks in conduits such as liquid nitrogen (-200 C)?

Thanks,

If the conduits are visible, then a leak of N2 to the atmosphere should be visible in the IR. However, I suspect a simpler and more effective way would be to use a acoustic ultrasonic probe. We have an Ultraprobe model 9000 that is very effective in detecting and locating leaks.
