Hello, Guys
We are thinking of retubing our existing CS (A179)tube heat exchanger with SS (Gr304). The tube side is Cooling water & Shell side is Syn Gas OR Ammonia We had done this in one of our earlier exchangers & there we had a problem of severe corrosion of the tube sheet. Photograph of the corroded tube sheet / tube joint is attached for reference. I would like to have your experiences on this type of job.  |
