Trying to establish a work optomization plan, and it includes getting my people certified in oil analysis. Is there any training course followed by a certification exam for oil analysis? Or is is all just basically reading up a certain "body of knowledge" and sitting the exam when you think you're ready?

There are various certifications, try ICML or STLE.

I'm pretty sure you will find online training with the Noria company, they have been around a long time and have a good range from beginer level up to the more expierenced.
