Astm D6224 specifies a maximum change of 0.2 from new oil.
Epri 1003085 specifies a maximum of 0.3 mg koh/g for bearing applications without consideration of oil type/ change from initial TAN. Herguth provides us with a TAN limit for each machine depending on the type (Manufacturer/brand) of oil. Unfortunately, I can't get into the database at the moment to see what it is for DTE797. |
