can anyone reccomend some equipment and simple testing procedure we can do in house rather than out sourcing all our oil analysis, I'm hoping we can do minor procedures and if anything out of the ordinary pops up we can outsource for more involved testing

Thanks

The oil analysis instruments depend entirely on the equipments you have but there will be some common oil analysis equipments.

When I was still working in a mining firm, I prepared a study on what instruments are highly recommended for an in-house oil analysis lab.

You may download this at my website at the articles portion.

To much Information...too much hassle. Who's doing the actual analysis for you, in house ??? for the cost,(it's not that expensive $30-$40) sent it out, and recieve solid analysis and recommendation from people who know. Try Emerson Process management.
