I'm having a hard time and kind'a confused.

We're using a CSI 5200 oil lab that I just sent back to Knoxville for calibration. They also recalibrated the diluent using I supose "ultra-clean". I'm using lab grade and pushing it through a filter patch attached to a plastic lab squeeze bottle (3 micron I think). Anyway it should be pretty clean.

I went to do a "diluent calibretion" of MY diluent and it come up with a message that my diluent is too dirty...so I back out and don't save...Then I do a particle count of my diluent on the 5200, basically running it like an oil I would test. It comes back 18,17,15 at ISO 4-6-14.

So I guess my question is, How clean is the diluent you guys are using and how do you get it there??? My sample results are bogus until I can get this straightened out.

THANKS in advance!!
