Does anyone have information about highest temperature that EP2 grade (lithium base) grease can withstand.

DO NOT KNOW MELTING POINT. BUT ITS DROP POINT IS 182 DEGREE CENTIGRADE.

I get lithium-based EP grease from lowerfriction.com which is good to 800C (that's 1472F). I would imagine that they have EP2 greases as well. I'm pretty sure they have greases that can withstand even more heat than my grease is good to. It's not really cheap, but it's not bad.
