Has anyone used the SKF Machine ODS software? We may be changing data collectors and this is the software of choice "salesman's words" for the system.

Thanks,

Aubrey

I am not familiar with SKF modal software. ME Scope ODS software is what I have with an FRF module on an SKF GX Microlog. FRF module allows you to take your phase readings and import them into ME Scope software to animate your model. It works well for us.

Hi Aubrey,

The SKF Machine ODS software is actually MESCope V4.XX with specific drivers for the older CMVA series of data collectors. The software is now running at V5.XX and the drivers have been removed. However the CMXA series of data collectors (Microlog GX and AX) run a specific module for Modal and ODS readings and the data is directly imported into V5. In addition to this if you have a Microlog AX with the recorder module you can not only do ODS measurements in the frequency domain but also in the time domain as MESCope also directly imports the 4 channel wav file the recorder module creates.

My understanding is that MEScope will run on most box's. Which is good.
