Easiest way to track run time is to install runtime meters on the motors and have operations log the run hours once a day/week/month. This information is then documented in Maximo, which triggers PMs/pump switching based upon runtime.

The runtime meters can be a simple magnetic clamp-on or meters wired to the supply bus on the motor's MCC.
