I have a Maximo question for the forum.

Can anyone out there tell me what the advantages are to creating equipment parent-child relationships in Equipment module? Most of our hierarchy is built in the Location module. We have a few equipment relationships, but the advantages of equipment relationships aren’t obvious to me.
