To improve your CMMS usage, first you have to know on what level you are moving with respect to the CMMS usage.
First you have to make a kind of snapshot of your CMMS usage. To make such kind of snapshot I want to use a so called quickscan w.r.t. CMMS usage.

My questions:
1. Does somebody know if "CMMS-quickscans" are already developed?
2. Does somebody know about literature that describes how to develop quickscans in general?

Thank you in advance.

The CMMS-Quickscan has to be an analysing tool to estimate (to mark) the CMMS-use of any organisation

I have not used a "program" but have found information in Terry Wireman's book
Bench Marking Best Practices in Maintenance Management which in my opinion is an update of World Class Maintenance Management

I was looking to buy my own copy of World Class Maintenance Management, but found the first one.

Basically it explains the various areas of Maintenance Management (reporting, inventory, work orders, Preventive Maintenance, PdM etc.) and has a questionare where you have to give a score to various topics in the different areas.

The rest is Excel

That's clearer now. Just not used to the terminology used. It's quite easy to estimate which portions of CMMS used or not used but it's quite tough to estimate how many assets at the fields are properly included or represented in CMMS.

A nice spider diagram! Appreciate if can see the survey questionaire used.
