Hello,
Does anyone have any recommendations for a CMMS that is tailored to semiconductor equipment maintenance? I am concerned that one of the basic CMMS packages will not be able to handle the complexity of semiconductor equipment maintenance.
Thanks

Semiconductor equipment maintenance is not really any different from many other types of maintenance. There are many applications that are suitable for this.

Most good CMMS systems can be configured for any equipment and some have user definable fields if that is what you require.

Kindly explain your concern further so that cmms enthusiasts can understand it better.

Thanks for the replies. I know my question was bit generic.
3 things I was thinking of right off the bat:
1) The ability to handle complex tool relationships, like linked and cluster tools and subsystems.
2) Equipment state tracking conforming to SEMI standards E10 and E58.
3) Ability to feed data for OEE calculations

If I may comment (to lighten up a bit),
1) What do mean by linked and cluster tools? Handtools? Tool mgmt should be part of cmms. First, have to register all the tools in the cmms. For subsystems, have to build up asset hierarchy/structure.
2) Tracking eqpt state, do you mean such as shutdown, standby, idle etc? Never read SEMI stds, may be you want to provide info.
3) Feeding OEE calculations, I have not seen cmms can do this. If you need to calculate OEE thru cmms from eqpt level to subsystems, systems and factory levels, I guess asset hierarchy is needed and provided enter deligently the performance, efficiency & quality factors into eqpt master records.
P/s Just my general views...
