I was wondering if any one uses DMSI or Ivara. We are close to considering these programs. I would like to here the pros and cons of using then to there fullest potential.

I don't know DMSI and I have no pro and cons for this.
So here is some information about my experience with IVARA:

PRO:
- IVARA is a very powerfull CMMS
- You can integrate RCM2 (Aladon)
- The engine inside gives you the whole control over everything (like screen design, interfaces, ...)
- You can adapt nearly everything
- Any changes are instantly also available in the web front end
- IVARA has a certified interface to SAP R/3 (if required)
- I think Dofasco is their biggest customer (also being an equity partner of them)
- The software is in use all over the world (I know about implementations also in Europe

CON:
- The database is due to the engine not static
- It will take a longer time to know all about the capabilities

By the way:
Siemens being also an equity partner of IVARA sells the software branded as "Maintegrity" (see www.siemens.com/maintegrity). Siemens has also implemented several installations of IVARA / Maintegrity in Europe and Asia.
