We've been using the BPCS maintenance (aka ELKE) for several years now. I've been involved with PM set-up and work order management since Y2K and am still learning! I am anxious for SAP...I think??

LOL Eugene...somehow that makes me feel better...I think. We had looked at Maximo, and was impressed with the package. Our corporate headquarters said, naw...don't think so, we're gonna' go to SAP. I have already started the process of getting some of the data ready...BOM's, etc. I would like to visit a company to see how it functions and figure out what I should really be doing in preparation. Thanks for the reply.

BrianL 1. Document well your BOM, equipment lists, tasks list and audit them at SAP after data uploading to make sure everything came up at the right places. 2. Since the descision has been taken by the "gods of the Olympus" and is going to be SAP and not Maximo as Maintenance wanted, ensure attitude issues does not come around that could affect the implementation of the system.
