I guess some users don't really know maintenance management system and thus their requirements. When they buy any CMMS, they blame it doesn't fit their usage because their maintenance work process is not standardized in the first place to be computerized

I agree Josh. Some people think all they have to do is buy the software and their troubles are over. Unfortunately the software is only a tool that you need to learn to use like any other.
The Access versus SQL server debate is not really a debate at all. It's all dependent on how heavily the system will be used and the amount of queries at any given time. If you are small company with two or three concurrent users and a few work orders per day then Access is fine. |
