Hi all

I need some assistance ,
~my boss has given me the go ahead to install a CMMS program, What I need to know is what program do you guys out there recommend.

I´ve googled it and there are so many types... I need a program that is simple to install and setup, and that is user friendly, but good.

I am afraid that a question like this will generate a more extensive (confused) list than google

Some questions:

What type of industry?
How many equipment?
How many people involved in maintenance/operations?
How much are you willing to spend?
Do you need a consultant? or is every one in maintenance a computer geek?
What about training?
Do you have a simple paper based system already in place?

Type = Industrial (Cryogenic)
quantity of equip.= aprox 200 valves
100 press.Transmitters
30 vibration transmitters
2 cooling water towers
..etc etc...

everyone using it would be considered a comp. geek

this is a temp. system that will be in place for about three years only...
