I am compiling information about KPI's for a report that I am writing. Can anyone provide or point me to information about this on the web?

many books on maintenance management cover this in detail, but terry wireman wrote the book compeletely dedicated to KPI's. you can browse it easily on amazon.com or the like.

'developing kpi's for measuring performance' is the title or something similar. i have one copy but not on this location where i am currently.

good luck

The title of the book is "Developing Performance Indicators for Managing Maintenance" by Terry Wireman. ISBN 0-8311-3080-6. I purchased it at amazon.

Bryan,

My book comes out within about a month. It is on the maintenance Scorecard and is an adaptation of the balanced scorecard methodology to asset managament. Included within this book is the first ever published RCM scorecard as well as an index filled with around 50 pages dedicated solely to different indicators, their benefits, limitations and tips on their production.

Send me an email to my personal address and I will give you some further details.

Cheers

I'm not sure about what the books say, but the KPI's I use are: daily schedule compliance, average time to get to each type of work order, average time spent on each type of work order, % PM's & PDM's to CM's, number of emergencies; % of wo's worked unplanned and unscheduled.
