For all who may be able to offer information on this one, it is pretty important for me to be able to get some information oin the following issues.

I am aware of the SMRP program for certification of reliability professionals based on their past experience. I think this program is long overdue, admirable and is achieving great goals for the community in general.

However, I am wondering about certification of ability that goes further than this. For example certification that people have the right group of skills to be in the role of:

Asset Management Director
Asset Management Supervisor
Asset Manager etc..

While the certification area is obviously braod and takes in many of the specific areas that each of these need, I am wondering if there is any attempts to certify people beyond the current levels of certification?

Anybody can take the exam. Though passing it is not that easy
