Sometimes there is an orientation or "ragging" which has to be endured when entering new schools, especially military ones.

We have to agree to disagree sometimes but teamwork and togetherness in reliability must prevail. Maybe we just need cool off time after apologies.

Hullo Rolly,
I did apologise immediately, but I guess you do not accept it.
There are many more things we agree on than those on which we have different views. You have yourself stated on more than one occasion "Vee, you read my mind". Your mission and zeal are exemplary and I respect you for that, so please continue your contributions. As advised by you, I will stay clear of your posts; let others benefit from them. I hope you will reconsider your position.

Regards,

Rolly

I echo the wishes of others that you would still continue to contribute and participate. Everyone is interested in all views though we may disagree at times.

I think you are making valuable contributions here.

I get the feeling someone got up on the wrong side of the bed. Rolly, if you leave the forum, who are you gonna argue with? We learn more from those who challenge our thoughts than from those who don't. Just think what could have been avoided if the "leader of the free world" would have listened to a few dissenting opinions.

Hey Rolly - is this really about something V.Narayan (Vee)said on the forum?

Just look where he (she?) is located! Everybody North of the Border (Scotland) are argumentative OSB's so just ignore it, just like us English have been doing for centuries!

Now THIS should get a reaction!!

Just laugh it off like we all have to at some times in our lives and get on with your life!

Vee, we have been together for several years on other forums long before I met these people on this forum, Without a doubt, you are one of the leading experts in the field of your profession that I respect a lot and admire. I am just a nobody living in a third world country barely surviving this profession, its not so rewarding yet I still hang on because this is where my passion lies. And who am i to speak to a very respectable person like you

Vee, i do not accept your apology for one reason, you have nothing to apologize for, so nothing to forgive, and I think that I am the one who should ask you for an apology. My reason for my uncomfortableness in writing is that I mess up with you.

This forum had always been part of me since I become active, it's like a coffee shop or bar that after work i go to this place where I see the same people having great time talking about common issues that interest us. This forum is a place where different people from every space in this planet meet. We have different culture, beliefs, tradition, yet we have a common passion. Reliability and Maintenance.

Maybe that is your nature on how you reply and I cannot change that, I'll just get use to it, sorry if it took me sometime to know you more.

Vee, may I humbly ask with all humilation, to find it in your kindest heart to forgive me for getting carried out a little, and may I request you not to stay away from my post, we have many unresolved arguments, so lets get it on and kick some butts.

I also would like to apologize to the rest for getting a little soft, only a little.

Vee, I will always be your friend and brother,
kindly remember that.

Rolly Angeles

Hey Rolly! May I be the first to say "welcome back"!
We need young blood like yourself to keep us "oldies" in place and to keep us up with modern times.
LOVE the Philippines, and the people. Worked with over 100 of you guys in my last job in Saudi Arabia, and they were GREAT but, like you, passionate! I had to be careful!!!

Hang in there!

I am from North of the border but I don't know what an OSB is?

(The union of the crowns was in 1707, 300 years ago this year. A black event!)

OSB or SOB? It's a bit of camoflauge I think...

How to edit the tittle of the threads eg from Unscribe to I'll stay? I have mistyped some tittles but couldn't correct them.

Glad to read you are staying!!! Smiler Maintenance is a rough work and discussions among us may tend to get vivid colors. Around my place (Puerto Rico) when the conversation shift into politics it really have sparks. Take care, lets debate and we will learn a thing or two, (not only technical stuff).

I'm also interested to know how to correct a thread title. Need intervention of webmaster?

Rolly - see the new community photo posting area. It should work like everyone wants.

I also can bring back the PdM Hall of Fame where we requested old photos of predictive maintenance instruments.

Thank you for getting me off my duff to figure out how to do this.

Enjoy!
