I think the best use of the chat rooms would be to set up times and topics like they do on AOL.

I agree Patrick - we used to do that in the early days at Reliabilityweb.com.

We will think about some events and post some ideas for comments.

I really have to say that I far preferred this forum when it was an email based system. I realise the commercial and spam aspects of this change, but I really miss the email type list.

It was far more personal, far less dominated by two or three people and others were far more likely to join in. Discussions were also more lively with several interesting personalities appearing all of the time.

Unfortunately I dont really have the time to keep going with this currently, due out-of-work commitments, but I would really like to.
