Frowner Vee, Tery, Howard et all,
Sorry I can't make it this time, maybe in september.

Two of our guys were at the IMC-2005 and returned very excited. Howard my electrical guy loved your session about lubricating electric motors.

Thanks for the well wishes. I humbly think the Vegas events are going to be some of the best we have ever done. The speakers, the papers and the guests are simply the best.

No worries - we will be posting much of this conference over the next few months.

Howard's bearing lubrication short course went so well we are trying to get him to develop a full day course for IMC or another event.

September will be great as we will focus on Predictive Technologies at PdM-2006 in Chattanooga - which is a great little town.

Thanks again for the kind words but especially for all of the great posts you add to this forum.

D-

Yes - I was a little off track - it happens from time to time with me!

I really like your quote above and may borrow it for a presentation I am working on!

quote:
To date the core of what we do is best done by RCM

Again - agreed - it has been almost 30 years and so far nothing new on the horizon.

quote:
The RCM Analyst method that we have pioneered throughout Europe now is a vastly different implementation approach and one that is fully SAE compliant and comprehensive.

(And takes a lot less resource and time than the default approach does.)

Very interesting! I am not up to date with what is happening on the Continent although I plan to be there in June.

I also notice that there are some major acquisitions of reliability service companies going on here with European buyers. Perhaps they will export what you refer to over on this side of the pond.

OK - we will keep debating as we hopefully keep evolving.

Thanks for all your input.
