Dear friends, is this recommended practice for the installation of thermodynamic (Controlled Disc) steam traps?

Not all traps are vertically oriented. And, I'd use a different piping configuration.

Armstrong, maybe I have to put the question different. Is a horizontal installation of thermodynamic disc traps less sensitive to problems than a vertical installation? (as shown on the photo)
