Thats ok. Can you be more specific when you talk about asset management.
Are you talking about:
PM and PdM
RCM PMO
Machine care (cleaning inspection and lubrication)
Cost management
Life Cycle
EEM

Please clarify.

If you are talking about an ‘Asset Management Policy’ similar to a Health, Safety and Environment policy, which is a company document stating things like the purpose, principles, values, responsibility, implementation, stakeholders etc. then I would expect it needs to be introduced (launched), in a way that everybody gets buy in and understanding of the actual policy.

I’ve seen policies pinned to notice boards and people walk past them everyday, but when you question people on what the certain company policy is, some either don’t know or some give you little detail.

Like Mike said we may need to be more specific about your ‘asset management’. We need to know the specifics of what you are trying to “launch”. That way we can discuss some of the details that maybe required for such a launch.

Cheers - Gary

I knew the Asset Management is a BIG Picture and shown the objective or value of the company.....

I agree with GLT that somebody walk past the policy on the wall everyday but a little body know what are the important things of the policy.

And I also know about different county, different culture and work environment....

I'm still not to know what to core of Asset Management and also our staffs.

Everything as mike66 said, our organization are in place and practic but not sure effectiveness or not.

Now....our organization are in Change phase....

One thing our company does - and I guess that depends on size and resources - is when something "big" like a "policy change" or new initiative eg:TPM,ISO 9000 or whatever the company organises training for everyone.
It may be anything from 1hr in a training room to a whole day off site (one dept at a time).
This doesn't happen very often here and I can think of only a couple of times in the last 10 years the company has gone to this extent.

What it does though is makes a "big thing" of the initiative - everyone is involved and "learns" and is effective really in underpinning the importance of it - obviously if people know how important it is to management therein lies the emphasis.

Another thing to consider is what we call (in TPM) a "kick off".

This is a special event held on the factory floor that emphasizes the beginning of the new initiative to everyone. It is a great way to have some fun and at the same time publisize the policy change etc.

An example could be everyone signing a banner displaying the initiative (and the banner being hung somewhere predominant in the factory), or a team sport of some sort followed by a company lunch.
Again I guess it depends on the resource of the company.
Some of the best ones just require a little imagination.

This is the sort of thing that gives the change publicity and a starting point.

Can you clarify what you mean when you say 'everything is in place "
If you mean that all the elements of your "Asset Management " policy are in place then to determine if they are effective, you need to audit each element to see if it is achieving the outcome you specified in your Policy,
If you are not achieving the outcome you desire then you need to develop and implement an action plan for each of the elements .that will close the gap from where you are now to where you want to be .
If you have not specified a desired outcome in your Asset Management policy , then you will need to include a desired outcome that will help achieve your business goals

Panuphan,
I recently came across an article with an asset management pyramid showing the components and their phases. I believe this is probably one of the best articles I have ever read, it explains the asset management plan simply and shows the necessary steps which underpin each component. I have passed this to many of the site managers I work with to try to get the message through as to what I am trying to achieve with the wholistic reliability improvements I am attempting to instill.
