Are you asking about Nowlan and Heap?

You can read an except from Mac Smith here:

Chapter 4 RCM

It has an illustration of the 6 failure curves

You can purchase the CD and Proceedings book from RCM-2005 as it contains the full original Nowlan and Heap report along with a plethora of other great RCM information.

Josh:

I highly recommend the proceedings CD ROM from Terry O'.

It just so happens that I have posted a copy of the Nowlan and Heap on my website for my newsletter recipients. It will be up through the end of July because it takes up about 30+ MB of space.

It used to be available directly from the govt. But was discontinued some years ago. It was alot of fun to get ahold of it, again.

will get you to it under the first heading (RCM Materials).
