Is anyone aware of (and may provide links to documented) mechanical reliability studies dealing with the impact of cold climate operation and the incidence of increased/decreased failure rates that may be attributed to prevailing weather conditions?

Ideally, the studies should focus on typical equipment found in most industrial environments (not sophisticated, one-off type equipment) such as AC motors, gearboxes (both full-time operational and intermittent), conveyor systems, fans (belt driven and direct drive) and centrifugal pumps.

Any help and assistance would be appreciated.
