Hello All,

My wonder is, how can I measure the productivity of my maintenance workers.

İn production area for ex. in my factory, it is so simple.

Such as;

Productivity= Total number of producted pieces/ Total number of working hours

But in maintenance=???

I would be thankful if somebody can give info about this matter.

Have you measured the wrench time or hands-on tool time?

wrench time

Unfotunately I have no idea about how can I measure wrench time.

Additionally, I measure the breakdown time of the maschines as performance parameter.

Many books on Planning & Scheduling cover the measurement of wrench time. Doc Palmers "Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Handbook", inparticular, provides a short and a long method of determining wrench time.
